How to choose a planetary mixer for adhesive and sealant?
1. Choose capacity of movable tank as your output.Tank’s material can be SUS304 or SUS316L.
2. Choose motor power as viscosity and density of raw material.
3. Slow blade can be “sigma shape” or “paddle shape”,the “paddle shape”.
Normally “sigma shape” suitable for paste material,and “paddle shape” suitable for fluid or very high viscosity
material.
4. There should be scraper to clean the material stick on tank’s wall.
5. High speed disc can be single shaft or dual shafts,it can disperse and break the blocky materials.
6. The vacuum system can eliminate the air bubbles in the materials and also prevent the products from oxidizing,
the vacuum degree can be -0.096Mpa-- -0.097Mpa.
7. Heating or cooling system can cycle hot water/oil or cold water into movable tank’s jacket.
8. The PLC and HMI systems can achieve automated production, thereby avoiding variations in quality among
different batches.
At the same time, it can provide real-time feedback on the status of the planetary mixer and materials.
9. If your raw materials are flammable or explosive, an explosion-proof system is mandatory.
10. Adhesives and sealants are typically discharged from the movable tank into packaging machines or storage
tanks through a hydraulic press.
