One 1500L sigma mixer with extruder have finished painting,this sigma mixer ordered by a customer from Romania and
used for adhesive production.
The customer want to produce solvent-based adhesive,during the production process, the raw materials of the adhesive
need to be heated. Due to the particularity of the materials, rapid and uniform heating is required.
This sigma mixer have standard configuration for adhesive production:
1. 55KW motor with hard gear face gearbox.
2. The sigma mixer have screw extruder to discharge,screw motor 11KW.
3. Use double sigma blades to mix adhesive.
4. Double sigma blades’s speed controlled by inverter 0-23RMP/0-38RPM(slow/fast).
5. Screw extruder speed controlled by inverter 0-65RPM.
6. All contact parts made by SUS304 with mirror polished,the jacket made by carbon steel.
7. Not only the Jacket cycle thermal oil to heat,but also the sigma blades cycle thermal oil to heat so that heating is more
uniform and faster.And the temperature of raw material will displayed on control cabinet.
8. In order to reduce the temperature of the adhesive during unloading,the unloading barrel is equipped with a jacket that
is connected to a cooling water supply for cooling.
9. As the raw materials contain flammable and explosive solvents, the whole machine adopts a composite European standard
explosion-proof system-ATEX.
