How To Choose A Clay Sigma Mixer

How Does a Sigma Mixer Work For Clay

1. Special Blades

 Sigma mixers feature two Sigma or Z-type blades, employing a combination of shearing, stretching, and folding motions through fast and slow blades to meet the high viscosity, thixotropic, and easily encapsulated properties of sealants.

2. Corrosion-Resistant Material
Material contact parts are made of stainless steel 304 or stainless steel 316L with a mirror-polished finish, effectively reducing material adhesion and residue within the mixing chamber.

3. Cooling and Heating System
Generally, neither heating nor cooling is required during the clay mixing process.
4. Vacuum System
After being mixed in a Sigma mixer, the clay enters the extruder. During mixing, the clay foams and expands, so a vacuum system is not required.

5. Discharging Method
Tilting discharging will discharge products quickly and easily.

6. PLC System
A PLC is optional. Equipping the machine with a PLC allows for the storage of multiple production formulas, preventing batch-to-batch quality variations due to different operations.

7. Explosion-proof System
An explosion-proof system is optional. If the workshop has high dust levels or flammable and explosive materials need to be added to the mixture, an explosion-proof system can prevent the danger of fire and explosion.
