After more than 40 days of production, the 1000L Butyl Rubber Z Blade Mixer customized for a US customer was successfully completed and shipped to the United States today.
One year ago, the customer ordered a 5L laboratory z blade mixer from Jiahe Shengtong Machinery for experimental-scale production of a new type of Butyl Rubber. After repeated testing and process verification, the laboratory mixer successfully met the customer's requirements. Based on these results, the customer decided to scale up production and placed an order for a 1000L z blade mixer this year for large-scale Butyl Rubber production.
Jiahe Shengtong Machinery's engineers provided professional technical advice based on the material characteristics, viscosity, heating requirements, and production process, helping determine the appropriate equipment configuration for industrial production.
The mixer is equipped with a 55KW-6P Siemens motor, providing sufficient power for high-viscosity Butyl Rubber and ensuring stable operation during mixing.
As the production process involves the addition of flammable and explosive solvents, an explosion-proof system was added to improve production safety and reduce potential fire and explosion risks.
The material contacting parts are made of stainless steel 304 with a high-efficiency mirror finish. The mixing chamber is jacketed with carbon steel and covered with an insulation layer to reduce heat loss during operation.
The jacketed circulating heat thermal oil heating system provides rapid and uniform temperature control, helping maintain suitable processing conditions throughout the mixing process.
The new Butyl Rubber has a higher viscosity and requires stronger mechanical mixing. The Z shaped agitators provide strong shear and kneading forces to meet the mixing requirements of high-viscosity materials.
A screw extrusion discharge system improves discharge efficiency while reducing manual handling and unloading time for high-viscosity materials.
