The 1000L Hot Melt Glue Sigma Mixer with Screw Extrusion manufactured by Jiahe Shengtong Machinery has successfully passed the quality inspection and will soon be loaded and shipped to Poland.
During the equipment design process, our engineers recommended a suitable Sigma Mixer configuration based on the customer's hot melt glue production process, material characteristics, and requirements for continuous operation.
1、45KW Siemens Motor
As the customer requires long-term continuous production, the mixer is equipped with a 45KW Siemens motor. It provides stable power for mixing high-viscosity hot melt glue and is suitable for extended operation.
2、304 Stainless Steel Mirror-Polished Mixing Chamber
Hot melt glue has a relatively high viscosity and can easily adhere to the internal surface of the mixing chamber. Therefore, the material-contacting parts are made of 304 stainless steel with a mirror-polished finish to help reduce material residue. The jacketed parts that do not come into contact with the material are made of carbon steel, helping control manufacturing costs while meeting the required operating conditions.
3、Jacketed Electric Heating System
Heating is required during hot melt glue production to melt and mix the different raw materials. For this reason, the jacket is equipped with 5KW × 9PCS electric heating rods to heat the heat transfer oil. The heating temperature can be set according to the production process, and the temperature control system automatically stops heating when the preset temperature is reached.
4、Sigma-Type Mixing Blades
The mixer uses Sigma-type mixing blades to provide effective shear while thoroughly mixing and kneading high-viscosity hot melt glue.
5、Screw Extrusion Discharge
For high-viscosity hot melt glue, screw extrusion discharge offers advantages over conventional tilting discharge, including faster unloading and reduced manual handling.
If a PLC control system is added, the equipment can be further upgraded for automated production. A die head can also be installed at the end of the screw to extrude the material into different shapes according to the customer's production requirements.
6、Variable Frequency Inverter Control
Both the main motor and screw motor are equipped with variable inverter drives, allowing the speeds of the Sigma mixing blades and screw to be adjusted independently. This gives the customer greater flexibility in controlling the mixing and discharge process.
After the equipment passes final inspection and is shipped, we will provide the customer with a CE certificate required for the European market to facilitate customs clearance. An English operation and maintenance manual will also be provided with the equipment.
During operation, if the customer encounters any technical issues, our team will provide timely support through remote video guidance. When necessary, we can also arrange for engineers to provide on-site maintenance.
