We are pleased to announce that the 100L DMC Sigma mixer, manufactured for our Mexican customers, has been completed on schedule and has passed both performance testing and quality inspection; shipment will be arranged shortly.
DMC material, also known as Dough Molding Compound (DMC), is a thermosetting composite material. It is a pre-impregnated material in the form of a dough-like mixture, composed of unsaturated polyester resin, glass fibers, fillers, pigments, and additives. There is a clear technical distinction between DMC and BMC (dough-like molding compound): DMC achieves high viscosity by increasing the filler content without adding chemical thickeners; while BMC achieves high viscosity through chemical thickeners. This product has excellent electrical insulation properties, mechanical properties, heat resistance, flame retardancy, and corrosion resistance, and it also has good fluidity, low molding pressure, short molding time, and low molding temperature. Its application fields include electrical and electronic engineering, construction, railways, automobiles, etc.

After studying the customer's DMC production process, the engineers at Jiahe Shengtong Machinery recommended that the customer use a 100 L Sigma Mixer.
1. Main motor 11KW with hard gear face gearbox.
2. Since the materials added by the customer include resin, powder, and chopped glass fiber, the inner wall of the Sigma Mixer is constructed from SS304 steel and finished with a mirror-polished surface to prevent material adhesion to the inner walls.
3. Sigma type blades,speed variable control by frequency inverter.
4. Hydraulic tilting discharging easy cleaning.
5. Electric heating system; the maximum heating temperature can reach 400°C.
6. The insulation layer reduces heat loss and prevents workers from sustaining burns.
7. Unloading hopper – facilitates the discharge of DMC into the sliding bin.
